Marketing Intern

First Generation is seeking marketing interns to assist with research, planning and administration of clients’ marketing communications and advertising campaigns with a special focus on the agency’s internal marketing and public relations efforts. In this position, you will work hands-on with our media planners, creative staff, producers, and account managers, gain valuable real-world experience and make contacts in the marketing and advertising industry. Candidates should be enrolled in or have recently completed a marketing, advertising, communications, or similar program at a college or university. Well-developed writing skills and/or previous experience working in a professional marketing or administration role are a big plus. Both full- and part-time interns will be considered. Internship is unpaid; scheduling is flexible.

Production Intern – Video and Live Events

First Generation is seeking production interns to assist with pre-production, production and post-production on video shoots and live events. Duties could include research, helping on set, load in/ load out of equipment, logging, transcribing and running general production errands for Producers, Editors and A/V Managers.

In this position, you will work closely with the FG staff of Producers, A/V team, Editors and Motion Graphic Designers and gain valuable real-world experience.

Candidates should be enrolled in or have recently completed a film, television, communications, journalism or similar program at a college or university. Looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude who wants to learn the film/ television/ video industry and is willing to take initiative. This is not a position where you will be required to get coffee, but you will be asked to do tasks that will prepare you for a role as a Production Assistant. Intern must have own vehicle. Both full- and part-time interns will be considered. Internship is unpaid with possible school credit available, if needed. Scheduling is flexible.

Graphic/Digital Design Intern

First Generation is seeking graphic/digital design interns to assist with development, design, and production of client and internal marketing communications, advertising campaigns, live event graphics, and more. In this position, you will work hands-on with our Creative Director, Art Director, Digital and Multimedia Designers, Producers and Account Managers. Through your internship you will gain valuable real-world experience and work on a wide variety of projects in both print and interactive media.

Candidates should be enrolled in or have recently completed a graphic design, digital design or similar program at a college or university, and have significant experience working with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Web/interactive design experience, as well as experience working with content management systems such as WordPress, is a big plus. Both full- and part-time interns will be considered; internship is unpaid, scheduling is flexible.
